At the grand opening of his new art and technology space, Padimai Art & Tech Studio, he presented a softer, more reserved side. Located in Singapore's Tanjong Pagar Distripark, home to the Singapore Art Museum, Sundaresan's "artistic laboratory" aims to emphasize the importance of internet decentralization rather than showcasing accumulated digital assets.
Padimai, derived from the Tamil word for "image", "form", or "metaphor", serves as a hub for experimentation, residencies, commissions, and exhibitions. It explores the fascinating intersections of art, technology, and social practices. Sundaresan envisions Padimai as a space where these realms converge, pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation.
